Mikayla's
Story
Confidence: Some are born with it, some are taught, most are a combination of both!
I am apart of the majority born with confidence but taught how to lean into it in a way that helps me achieve anything in life.
I am a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. The owner, Founder, and CEO of Mpressive Exposure. An actress, host, model, motivational speaker, influencer, confidence coach and the reigning Miss Black Ohio 2020.
From the time I could start talking, I fell in love with it. Confidently talking to anyone who would listen.
"Confidence is my superpower"
After tearing my ACL and partially tearing my meniscus I decided it was time to find activities that aligned with my passion of connecting with others. I entered into my first pageant. A place where I could walk, talk, get glammed up and smile the entire time.
Of course I lost. I knew nothing about pageants but I knew I had confidence in myself to do amazing things. I practiced, I went to modeling camps and workshops, I got coached. Then, I WON. I got CASTED for fashion shows, magazines, and commercials. I realized that after hearing “No” from casting directors and judges that
The success after failure is what built my confidence the most.
After finding success through my confidence, I had to share my secret recipe with others so I started Mpressive Exposure. An one of a kind experience learning how to channel your confidence and self love to be successful in every aspect of life. Social media has added another layer of ways to hurt or boosts your self esteem. I have taken the time to study social media, self love and confidence to not only help myself but the world! Why Because...
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style."
